Fast Forward

Hello long-time readers and welcome new followers! It's only been just over a month since my last post, but it seems like an age. Christmas and New Year flew by and I've been sewing like a demon since. I can't say too much about it at the moment - all will be revealed next month - but it is taking up most of my evenings.
I'm not really a fan of making New Year's resolutions; they always fall by the wayside within a month, so I just don't bother. One thing I do love about starting a new year though, is buying a new calendar. It may seem silly but for some reason I take great pleasure in choosing something which will continually bring me joy as we fly through the months ahead.
Although I don't feel the need for a calendar, not being at work and all, I found a really awesome one for 2013 that I wanted to share with guys.

Art Deco/Steampunk style travel posters for destinations throughout the universe.
Too cool!
I had hoped to be able to frame some of the images but they're printed over two pages which really won't work at all. Thankfully, the artist, Steve Thomas, has prints available here. Now, which one to choose...

  1. What a fabulously fun calendar! I wouldn't classify myself as a sci-fi gal in general, but there's just something about a vintage (or modern vintage inspired) take on how the future might have ended up looking like that appeals to me so much.
